There’s nothing wrong with fooling your parents into thinking you’re sick so you can improve your Modern Warfare skills. I’d even go so far to say there’s nothing wrong with calling in sick to your crappy retail or IT job when you get the unbearable itch for an all-day marathon of virtual deathmatch. The world will go on around you and nothing bad could possibly come from your choice to play hooky. However, it’s a totally different story when you’re a public servant. Now, as the story has it, a county judge in Britain with 15 years of service (who will remain anonymous) went out and waited an hour in-line for the midnight launch of Modern Warfare 2. The 48-year-old said he was “like Charlie waiting outside the chocolate factory”. That’s a pretty intense statement from a district county judge with a wife and two kids at home. Not even I was that excited for the UPS guy to arrive at my doorstep (though I was constantly refreshing my tracking page). The judge was so excited that he played “long into the night” and was obviously too busy trashing every 13-year-old who dared cross him to remember his obligation to society. So, like any good gaming-addict, he called in sick to work. Now personally I have no problem with him calling in sick after a night of binge gaming. Would you want a groggy, pissed off judge who just wants to get home to play Modern Warfare 2 residing over any case, no matter the importance? Probably not. The issue here is how his irresponsible actions probably wasted county taxpayer money and time. It’s one thing to be a kid and do this and another to be a 48-year-old judge and do it. Grow up, man.
Alright, i haven’t touched on Modern Warfare 2 yet. I’ve been too busy playing the damn game. I don’t think ill have to tell everyone how good it really is, though i will do a post on the weekend. I break up from school this Friday so ill be able to fill everybody in on whats been going on. Anyway ill get to the point, Tomorrow infinity ward will be updating the Modern Warfare 2 playlists just in time for the Christmas break. Robert Bowling states “We’re planning to add a new hardcore playlist to Modern Warfare 2 just in time for the holiday break. Look for Hardcore Ricochet: HQ Pro on Wednesday” I think its about time they introduced this game type. Even though the game has only been out a couple of weeks. Within the first couple of minutes of me playing it after the midnight release, i was extremely surprised to see the Hardcore Headquarters in the default playlist. After it being such a big hit in COD 4 i thought it would have been included for sure. I like the way infinity ward are able to update the playlist whenever they please with no need for a 360 update to be downloaded. Save alot of time and frustration. I gotta head but ill touch on this topic again within the next couple of days.

As we all now, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be release 12.01am tomorrow morning. I will be attending the Mid-night launch to get my hands on this top seller. 14 million people around the world are expected to attend mid-night launches around the world and will then be playing Online Mulitplayer. It just so happens that becuause of Time-Zones ect. Australia will be one of the first countries to have MW2.
I’m soo stoked for tomorrow night, no joke i have been waiting for this night since last year. I’m heading down to EB GAMES with a couple of mates to attend the Midnight Release of Call of Duty: Modernwarfare 2. The only thing is i have to go to schoool the following morning. I’m heading to bed early tonight after playing some COD 4 and then get a couple f hours sleep tomorrow before i leave. When i get back ill be doing a Solid 6-7hrs of gaming and then heading straight to school. I will be absolutly rooted. I have a english assesment piece that I have to hand in that morning aswell. That wont be happening. I am willing to take a lunchtime even an afternoon detention for this game. Nothing is going to stop me finishing this game in the new Online Co-op feature. Me and DN MELO DN are finishing it on hardend that night before school. Soory for the rambling but shit, im soo happy.
I just read that early this year american rapper 50 Cent was casted as the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Voice Over. Here he is playing the yet to be release MW2 with the madden brothers from Good Charlotte and the infinity ward team.
I’m not too sure if many people have heard about this but Konami, the team behind such hits as Metal Gear Solid, have signed a deal with James Wan, the director of the Saw Film Franchise, to re-create this sick series as a video game. You take the role of David Tapp, the obsessive detective who was dedicated his life to puting John Kramer behind bars. Now that David has captured by John Kramer (Jigsaw) he has to navigate his way through a series of levels filled with Enemy AI and other victims also looking to kill you in return for their release. There are over eighteen different weapons scattered throughout the game, varying from lead pipes to mop handles. In addition to standard weapons, you may recover firearms or explosives along the way. Certain weapons may also be used for other purposes such as: cutting open a body to search it or breaking down a molding wall to reveal hidden paths. It is very much a game with puzzles core mechanic, combined with combat and exploration.
I have had a glimps at both the Official E3 Trailer and the Demo and from what I have seen it look like i am going to be renting this game, opposed to buying it. The Film Franchise was fine, but a Video game is a bit of a stretch in my books.

I just caught a glimps of the Official Launch Trailer for Modernwarfare 2 which was only released a few hours ago. I believe this is the best comercial yet showing all aspects of the game from the high action combat scenes to the more stealthy campaign missions. A game like this deserves all the acelieds it gets. This is the most anticitpated game of this decade and I’m sure it will not disapoint.

With only 6 more sleeps until the official launch of Modernwarfare 2, I have just started playing Call of duty 4 after a 3 week break. With COD 4 being one of the best games to come out within the past 3 years i really do hope that Infinity Ward have sucess with MW2. After such a big hype over the game, it would be such a let down if the game turned out to be a failure. In 2009 Treyarch were given an opportunity to create an epsisode in the franchise which happend to be Call of Duty: World At War which turned out to be a very disapointing episode in the series. Many players found themselves back on COD 4 which is still strong within the Xbox Live Community. Infinity Ward have big expectations to revive the Franchise after COD 5, I believe that they can pull it off with another Award Winning performance. To pull ’ Game of the Year 2009’ again would be a great sucess story for the world renowned team.
I often find myself crawling the internet for time killers while im downloading large files. I got this screen while loading ‘Dungeon Cleaner’ from Newsgrounds. I found it rather amussing but true. I wish i found the game as amussing as the loading screen :(

Electronic Arts and Bioware will let you get all that stuff done for Dragon Age weeks before the game is out. If you sign up for their social-networking site here, you can download the character creator and then store your character online. Alternatively, just grab it straight from this link if you’re not interested in crossing Dragon Age with Facebook. Either way, you’ll be able to import your character directly into the game when it comes out next month.
The character creator not only gives you a thorough look at all of Dragon Age’s skills and talents, but it shows off yet another one of those detailed face builders with sliders for nostril width, chin depth, and ear size. It also allows something that is completely unrealistic: women dwarves. I mean, seriously, Dragon Age? Everyone knows there was no such thing as women dwarves. There goes your credibility as a realistic fantasy game.
